Problem to be solved:

Making a corrosion-resistant platform

Resources applied:

TWS profiles, TWS barrier system, self-closing safety gates

Scope of work:

Delivery of materials and installation

Industry:

Metallurgical industry

Date of completion:

August 2014

Summary:

The subject of this order was to build a platform with two staircases over the water system. The platform, 1 metre wide and almost 4 metres long, was to ensure easy access to both sides of the pipeline. The entire structure was made of composite materials and bolted with acid-resistant steel to ensure complete resistance to corrosion in the local conditions. The platform hangs on two channel sections fixed to the wall with expansion anchors. On one side of the pipeline, "ladder" stairs with an inclination of 61 degrees were made, while on the other side we made a less steep stair descent with an inclination of 39 degrees. Additionally, 3 access platforms to the valves were made.
